Indian origin physician Dr. Puneeta Sharma has been appointed Vice President of Valley Health System and Chief Medical Officer of Valley Medical Group, bringing expanded leadership responsibilities to one of New Jersey's prominent healthcare networks.valleyhealth+1

In her new role, Dr. Sharma will oversee the operations, physicians and staff across all Valley Medical Group specialties, including cardiology, general surgery, oncology, pediatrics, primary care, women's services and a broad range of subspecialities such as gastroenterology and endocrinology.
