A 22-year-old Indian-origin student from Karnataka studying at the University of California, Berkeley has been reported missing, prompting an at-risk alert from local authorities.
The student, identified as Saketh Sreenivasaiah, was last seen on Tuesday in the 1700 block of Dwight Way in Berkeley, police said, adding that he has been classified as an at-risk missing person. He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 160 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes, though officials have not released details about the circumstances of his disappearance.
