The drone show begins promptly at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, and lasts about 15 minutes. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot, as Central Park will close at 10:00 p.m. Enhanced music and sound will be available near the Central Park Performance Pavilion.
Best Viewing Locations
The best place to watch the show is the Central Park Performance Pavilion. Other recommended spots include the grass area between Sailway Drive and Aqua Adventure Waterpark and the Central Park Soccer Fields. If you're watching from the Stevenson Boulevard side, the drone formations will still be visible, but text elements will appear reversed.
Food, Parking & Transportation
Enjoy food, desserts, and drinks from Food Truck Mafia before the show. Parking is available near Aqua Adventure Waterpark, Fremont Community Center, Central Park Sports Complex, Fremont Main Library, Fremont Tennis Center, and other Central Park lots. Since parking will fill quickly, visitors are encouraged to arrive early, carpool, bike, walk, or use rideshare services.
The recommended rideshare drop-off and pick-up location is 1740 Stevenson Boulevard, near the Dog Park and Basketball Courts. The Dog Park will close at 5:00 p.m. on July 2 and reopen the following day.
Traffic & Road Closures
Heavy traffic and large crowds are expected around Central Park. Temporary traffic restrictions begin at 3:00 p.m. and continue until before 11:59 p.m. There will be no left turns or U-turns at several intersections along Paseo Padre Parkway, including Mission View Drive, Baylis Street, and Sailway Drive. Drivers should use Stevenson Boulevard or Gomes Road for U-turns and allow extra travel time.
Safety Information
Visitors should always use crosswalks, avoid crossing busy roads mid-block, and remain alert after dark. Lost & Found and First Aid services will be available at the City of Fremont booth in the vendor area. Personal drones are not allowed inside Central Park, as the event area is a designated No-Fly Zone.
