We are led by a leader, or Dai-al-Mutlaq, who is the vicegerent presenting the Imam in seclusion. Our current and 53rd leader is Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin. His Holiness lives in India, and acts as guide, mentor and the final interpreter of religion while embracing the changing world we live in. Like his predecessors, he regularly reminds us of the role that each of us must play to be a model citizen of the country in which we live, and how we must always be loyal and law-abiding.
