About

Usha Khosla was born during an auspicious full moon in the valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. This is located in northern India, in the foothills of the Himalayas.Usha attended the University of Delhi, earning the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, which is the qualification for practicing medicine in India. Next, she attended Nagpur University, earning a diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics. These qualifications are equivalent to a Doctor of Medicine degree in the United States. From 1972 to 1992, Usha and her husband Dr. Krishan Khosla, operated Khosla Hospital and Maternity Home in Phagwara, India.
