106 S Abel St, Milpitas, 95035 Smt. Rani Sunil is an accomplished dancer, choreographer and the founder of School of Indian Dance, one of the leading dance schools in the Bay area. She started learning dance at the tender age of 4 from highly respected, diverse classical dance teachers Kalamandalam Raji, Kalakshetra Sanal kumar and Regatta Girija Chandran. During her early years, she participated in various competitions and won many awards and accolades. She has presented a variety of dance forms such as Bharathanatyam, Kuchupudi and Mohiniyattam on India's premier Television channels Doordarshan, Asianet and Sun TV. She has given several performances in India, UAE and the US. In the pursuit of promoting Indian culture and tradition in the west and developing the artistic talents of young children and adults. she founded School of Indian Dance in 2010 at San Jose, California where she works as the Artistic director and continues to nurture young minds living outside India. Apart from her dance career, she has a masters in Psychology and relinquished her profession to devote full time to pursue her true passion .
