S. Zubin Gautam is a senior associate who focuses his practice on a variety of complex litigation matters. Dr. Gautam was a summer associate at WilmerHale in 2014. Before joining the firm, he was a research assistant to Professor Pamela Samuelson at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. In that role, he conducted research analyzing the scope of exclusive rights in copyright law, focusing on US copyright lawâs strict-liability infringement regime and the role of commercial harm in infringement liability. While at Berkeley Law, Dr. Gautam also worked as an advisor for the Law and Technology Writing Workshop
