About

Sanjay and Asha migrated to the United States of America in 2011. Having disappointing Indian Vegetarian Cuisine dining experiences and craving the Authentic Gujarati taste they were accustomed to decided that people from Indian origin should experience the true taste of Traditional Indian Vegetarian Gujarati Cuisine. Thus, they decided to open their own restaurant to provide this dining experience.

They have a vision to provide quality Indian Vegetarian Cuisine through the "THALI EXPERIENCE" - consisting of a wide variety of different dishes providing healthy and balanced nutrition, flavors, texture, and colors to create a complete meal. They envision and want to combine an experience of the five senses - Sight, Smell, Sound, Touch, and Taste!
 

Thalis are healthy and balanced Vegetarian food plates of India and consist of a round stainless steel plate with small round bowls "katoris" arranged around the rim of the Thali to serve food. In India, entire meal is served at the same time including Appetizers, Main Entree, Desserts and Beverages. This system is called Thali. Fingers, please… A "THALI" is traditionally eaten with your fingers, and only with the fingers of the right hand. Use your left hand only for pouring the curries onto your rice and to grasp your drinking glass.
