Soor Academy was conceived in the year 1989 by Pallavi Mehta in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. It started with three students and there has been no looking back since then. It has been 35 years of the musical journey and currently, the Academy constitutes people from all walks of life including young enthusiastic students, dedicated homemakers, and professionals. The academy caters as a forum for music enthusiasts wanting to further their knowledge in Hindustani classical music.
