Civil litigator representing a diverse variety of industries in the Chemical and Life Sciences group at Steptoe. With a focus on product and chemical regulation, I have tried cases to verdict and help guide clients from a diverse variety of industries through the litigation process. I’ve negotiated advantageous settlements and counsel clients on the Green Chemistry Initiative, California Safer Consumer Products (SCP) Program, the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and enforcement policies of the California Air Resources Board (CARB). I provide strategic defense and preventative compliance advice regarding Proposition 65, including navigating the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) safe harbor practices, product testing and exposure assessments, labeling requirements, enforcement actions, and defense and indemnification disputes throughout the supply chain.
