Jalsaghar was founded in Portland, Oregon in 2015 to promote south Asian and Indian music through concerts, workshops and lessons. Today it continues in the Bay Area (based in Oakland) run by world-renown sitarist and teacher Josh Feinberg. With more than 25 years of professional music experience teaching and performing around the world, Josh can help students of any level advance on their musical journey. Lessons are available in sitar as well as all instruments to students of all levels.
