Seetha took her early Bharatanatyam lessons with Smt.Lalitha Venkatesh and performed across multiple stages in Chennai. In 2010, Seetha got into Guru Smt. Shobana Bhalchandra's tutelage. Her Guru inspired her to become a passionate and self-motivated performer. Seetha has performed in many of her Guru's stage shows and dance dramas. ​ Even as a student, Seetha gave special attention to learning abhinayam and nattuvangam from her Guru. She attended many abhinayam and nattuvangam workshops apart from nritta workshops, hosted by her Guru and also took private classes to improve as an individual performer. Seetha is also trained in classical music under Smt. A. P. Komala. From 2014, Seetha took up to teaching dance under the banner of Tharanginee School of Bharatanatyam (Guru Smt. Shobana Bhalchandra's dance school). She was awarded Doordarshan grade in 2015. Before moving to California, she was teaching for almost two years in Chennai and also made her little students perform for multiple stage shows. She was much appreciated and recognized for her teaching skills. In 2016, Seetha moved to Menlo Park, California and has been teaching ever since.
