Fremont, CA – August 16–17, 2025: The city of Fremont lit up with colors, music, and joy as the 33rd Festival of India Parade and Fair Mela, hosted by the Festival of Globe (FOG), brought together thousands of people for an unforgettable weekend of cultural celebration.
Held at 39439 Paseo Padre Parkway, the two-day extravaganza ran from 10 am to 6 pm on both days, featuring over 120 booths showcasing arts, crafts, literature, fashion, products, and services. The event was truly a melting pot of traditions, businesses, and communities, celebrating India’s vibrant spirit in the heart of Silicon Valley.
The festivities were graced by prominent figures who brought inspiration, star power, and international flair to the event.
The much-anticipated FOG India Day Parade on Sunday, August 17 at 11 am was the crown jewel of the celebration. A colorful procession of cultural floats dazzled the streets, showcasing India’s diversity in music, dance, costumes, and traditions. The parade was met with thunderous applause as the community gathered in large numbers—bahut sare log aye—to witness the spectacle.
